History in the Making

So I realize how pathetic this may sound, but this is the first Inauguration Day that I have actually watched in my lifetime. I thought it was so neat to see our President be sworn into office-I felt like I was witnessing such a profound moment in our nation's history! I am a huge fan of Obama though, so maybe that is why I was so excited to watch it. :) Anyways, I just thought it was cool to watch it-if you haven't had a chance to see it yet, you should look it up and watch it.

As far as everything else that I have been up to in the past little bit-I have spent the majority of my time studying for some good ol' exams for Dental Hygiene. We are learning all about the horrid diseases of the mouth and how it all happens. It is actually quite interesting! Unfortunately-my mind is still on vacation from Christmas break and I am not ready to stress and study every single night!

This past weekend our friend Zac Taylor ran in the half marathon here in St. George! He did awesome-he had quite the fan group to cheer him in at the finish line. I keep thinking that I will get inspiration at one of these marathons I've been to so I will run one....but it hasn't happened yet!

The night of Zac's race we all went out to dinner at the new restaurant here in St. George called Pirate Island Pizza. It was awesome! We had to wait quite awhile, and then when they took us to our table someone else had taken it, so we had to go back to the waiting area while they put together more tables for us....but our food came quick and it was really good! The atmosphere is way fun and makes you want to be a pirate!
