A little Slice of Paradise

I have to admit, I have been completely spoiled and blessed this spring break. I had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii with some great friends and it was AMAZING. It all reminded me so much of the Philippines and made me that much more excited to get back there. Hawaii is such a beautiful place and it was so wonderful to completely forget the worries of school and just relax. Here is a little bit of all the fun I was able to experience...

Once again, a perfect spring break! Thanks again to the Bank's family for letting me tag along. MAHALO!

Road Trip!

So after much study and diligence, a couple of great friends and I decided it was time for a road trip to California. We took off on our adventure Friday morning, stopped in china town for some drinks and made the rest of the trip to Rancho Cucamonga. We noticed we were getting low on gas, so we stopped in Barstow where we filled up in the SNOW! We continued our trip and prayed that our weekend get-away to Cali wouldn't be ruined with cold weather. We didn't get a lot of sunshine, but we had so much fun. We spent our time SHOPPING in LA at the Shopping District (where we got tons of great deals), going to Hollywood, driving around Beverly Hills looking for famous people where we saw Steven Spielberg (yes...we saw him!), going to the LA temple, Venice Beach, the San Diego temple, Old Town San Diego, La Jolla Beach, and lots more shopping! As we began packing on Monday morning to make our way home, we were informed that the freeway back to St. George was closed because of snow...which put us in California for another day. You would think this would be a great feeling and all, being stuck in California for an extra day, but instead of enjoying it...I stressed the entire time about how I was going to make up the classes and tests that I would have to miss for not making it back to school. Fortunately I had understanding instructors and it all worked out. Overall, we had a great trip to California and I adore the girls I went with. We had a really good time. I wouldn't mind spending more years of my life there in the Golden State.

Bubble Tea from China town! It was a first experience for Whit and I, and we both loved them! Thanks Lia!

I Love Journey! Not only do they have great music...but their lead singer is a Filipino!

So much fun! Thanks for the memories Lia and Whit!

Here are a few other things that I have been up to lately aside from the studying for Midterms!
